With the retirement of Fr. Randall Patterson and this time of transition, the Trustees are tasked with overseeing Parish operations, serving as intermediaries with the Diocese regarding the assignment of the new pastor, and communicating information from the Diocese to parishioners. Some of the more mundane tasks include: placing collection money in the safe after Masses, signing checks to pay vendors, and locking up OLV church after weekend Masses.
Connie is married to Martin Steinbach they were married at OLV church in 1997. Connie has two stepdaughters, both are married, and each has one son. Grayson is 2.5 years old and Graham is 4 months old. Connie retired from the position as Director of the NYS Employee Health Service in 2018. She attended OLV School and has been a parishioner since 1956 with the exception of the 4 years after college that she lived in Chicago. Connie’s Trustee assignment started in June 2019 and is a 3-year term which includes attending Finance Council and Pastoral Council meetings. In addition to serving as a Trustee, Connie also serves as a Eucharistic Minister.
