Our Lady of Victory Church - Our Lady of the Snow Mission
Don't just come to church, be the church.
A CALL TO MINISTRY
The laity’s call to ministry and service, in other words, is not to be seen as a luxury or concession but as the natural consequence of their right and responsibility to participate in Christ’s saving mission and to use their gifts and talents to advance God’s kingdom in our day. - Howard J. Hubbard, Bishop of Albany “Fostering the Ministry and Service of the Laity” in Priests For A New Millennium, p. 131
WHY A CALL TO MINISTRY?
This call is our way of recognizing the many different gifts in our faith community. These gifts originate with God. Thus, liturgical ministers are not merely volunteers but persons who freely dedicate and train their talents for the good of the Church. We hope you will respond to the call.
