With the retirement of Fr. Randall Patterson and this time of transition, the Trustees are tasked with overseeing Parish operations, serving as intermediaries with the Diocese regarding the assignment of the new pastor, and communicating information from the Diocese to parishioners. Some of the more mundane tasks include: placing collection money in the safe after Masses, signing checks to pay vendors, and locking up OLV church after weekend Masses.
Chuck Ciaccia has been a parishioner at OLV since the Fall of 1990 and has served in the role of Building and Grounds Trustee since June of 2018, and serves on both the Finance and Parish Councils. Chuck has been married to his wife Joanna for 32 years and has three adult children who all received their Sacraments at OLV. His twin grandsons were also baptized at OLV and are currently enrolled in our Faith Formation program. Besides acting as Trustee, Chuck has participated in many ministries and roles including lector, Eucharistic Minister and as facilitator for Adult Faith Formation Bible Studies.
