Hello Grade K- 6 Parents,

Happy New Year! Our next K-6 sessions are on Sunday, January 9, 2022 @ 9:45 am – 10-45 am.

Grade 4 - Virtual @ 9:45 – 10:30am. Please pick up your Gospel Weeklies Packet for the Jan 9 – March 6 sessions. The office is open Mon. Jan. 3 – Fri. Jan. 7 from 9am – 2 pm or I can put them in the Drop Box outside of the Parish Office entry door  if you let me know when you want to pick it up. 

Grade 2: First Eucharist Prep begins Sunday, January 9. Please mark your calendars:

New for January 2022! Starting on January 9, our K/1, 3-6 Faith Formation sessions will be based on Pflaum Gospel Weeklies. These lessons and their activities are based on the weekly Sunday gospel reading at Mass. Please see Parent Letter below for more information.

Dear Grade K/1, 3-6 Faith Formation Parents,                                            

Beginning In January 2022, our Grade K/1, 3-6 Faith Formation sessions will be using  Pflaum Gospel Weeklies. Each Gospel Weeklies lesson is centered on the Sunday gospel reading at the Mass and uses stories, prayers, songs and activities to teach in an effective way. The children learn their faith within the rhythms of the liturgical year – Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and Ordinary Time. There is also a grade level Catechism Handbook for each child used that contains the Church’s teachings of our Catholic faith to reinforce the lesson. There are three levels of Gospel Weeklies:  ( please see website for each grade level outline)

Promise: Kindergarten and First Grade  

Good News: Grade Three

Venture: Fourth and Fifth and Sixth Grade

For Grades K/1, 3 – 6, at each in person session, the children will take home their Gospel Weeklies flyer from that session. They will also receive the following weeks Gospel weeklies flyer to bring home for at- home review and family activities.

Grade 4 virtual sessions will be covering the Gospel weekly Guides on Zoom sessions. There will  be a one- time pick up of all Gospel weeklies guides and Catechism Handbook before January 9 scheduled for you to pick up at your convenience.
