Dear Grade K/1, 3-6 Parents,
If we had held sessions on Sunday, Jan 9, your child would have started using our new Faith Formation program: Pflaum Gospel Weeklies and brought home an envelope of the Gospel weeklies guides for the weeks that we do not have sessions. Gospel Weeklies lessons are centered on the Sunday gospel reading at the Mass and uses stories, prayers, songs and activities to teach in an effective way. The children learn their faith within the rhythms of the liturgical year – Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and Ordinary Time.
Due to the cancelled session, I will be mailing out the weekly student guides for Grade K/1,3,5 and 6 children to read/complete at home for the four weeks that we do not meet through March 6. Grade 4 parents have picked up the packet of the Gospel Weeklies for the Zoom sessions and for the four weeks that we do not meet.

On the weeks that the Gospel weeklies are to be completed at home week (Jan 16, Jan. 30. Feb 20, Feb 27 ), I will send the parent teacher link that can be used for the at- home review, (www.gospelweeklies.com. Parent Teaching Guides). Parent Teaching Pages are easy-to-use guides that walk parents through teaching each lesson with step-by-step instructions, background information, and discussion starters. They are simplified versions of the Teaching Guides that the catechist use.
