Hello First Reconciliation Families,

On Sunday Nov. 6 : First Reconciliation Prep: Lesson 4 Jesus Teaches us to Forgive was completed in class..

This week, please review and talk about this lesson with your child.

See the Family Time Poster for you to post on your refrigerator with Lesson 4 Family Activities to follow up the lesson throughout your week.

Also as a resource, please visit First Reconciliation  for a downloadable PDFs for each session so you can review lesson summaries and share lesson-related video links with your child. Additional reminders:

• Please practice the Our Father, Hail Mary, and Act of Contrition daily/nightly (all three are on the inside of their purple folders).
• Please have your children listen to the song we are practicing in class that we will be singing at the First Reconciliation: We Come to ask Your Forgiveness at https://youtu.be/91jiAbPB1f0

REMINDER for this coming weekend:  NOVEMBER 12/13 FAMILY SERVICE PROJECT Thanksgiving Hospitality Boxes for the Grafton Food Pantry at our Lady of the Snow.

All K-10 Families are invited to participate in providing a decorated box with snacks and food items to be served before dinner. This will help families to entertain their friends and loved ones with special treats that that are not often included in a typical Thanksgiving food donation!  See attached flyer for all details. All box donations can be dropped off either at OLS Church on Saturday, November 12 from 10 am -2 pm or at OLV Church on Sunday, November 13 from 9am -1 pm.

SAVE THE DATE!!  Gr. K – 5 “The Star” Movie Event & Gr. 6- 10 Confirmation Service Opportunity on Sunday December 11 from 2 – 4:30 pm in the OLV Parish Center.

The attached Flyer with RSVP went home today regarding this fun afternoon for our Gr. K-5 children including “The Star” movie, popcorn, hot chocolate and making Cards for our Homebound parishioners. Please send in your RSVP at the next session on Nov. 20.

 It will also include a Service Opportunity for Grades 6-10 youth who are needed to help pass out the popcorn. hot chocolate and assist your younger peers with making the cards. Please contact Faithformation@olvols.org if you can help!
