Hello First Eucharist Families,

Our next First Eucharist Prep session is this Sunday, April 2 @ 9:45 – 10:45 am in the Education Center classrooms.

We have completed the Together in Jesus Lessons 1-6 in the Blue First Eucharist Folder!

This Sunday, our Lesson will review and have an activity focusing on “The Last Supper” and how it relates to their receiving the true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time. We will also review the Easter Story as we prepare for the Celebration of Easter on April 9.

Between now and First Eucharist Retreat for Parent(s) and children on Sunday April 23 @ 9:45 – 10:45 am, please help us prepare the children and reinforce the class lessons and prayers:

• Practice the Our Father, Hail Mary, and prayers distributed and on the inside of their blue folders daily/nightly.

• Have your children listen to the song we are practicing in class that we will be singing at the First Eucharist: We Come To Your Table @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTDt1yH9pHc. (NEW LINK!)

PLEASE NOTE- THIS SUNDAY at the 11:15 AM Mass

FOR CHILDREN: Our Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) will be performing The Lord’s Passion Play!! ALL children attending Mass are invited to participate. Children will be invited to the Altar to be dismissed with the catechists who will be leading this activity that takes place while the during the Gospel Reading and Homily.

FOR YOUTH, PARENTS and all ADULTS: there will be a special media enhancement during the reading of the Passion this year.  We thank the Grieco family for putting together this wonderful addition to the liturgy that day.

Communal Penance Service - Wednesday, March 29th - 7:00 PM OLV

Weekly Schedule of Reconciliation - Confession is offered in at OLV in the confessional every Saturday from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm before the Saturday Vigil Mass begins. Every Wednesday we also offer reconciliation after the 12:15 PM Mass until 2:00 PM.
