Hello Confirmation Families,

Sad News: Please keep Mia Girolami and her family in your prayers. Mia lost her Grandfather this past Friday. May he rest in God’s peace.

Reminders:

-Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, March 2. The Masses for that day will be at 12:15 pm and 7:00 pm at OLV and 5:00 pm at OLS. Ashes will be distributed at all masses. Our Pastor, Father Morrette, has asked us all, on behalf of the Church, to please pray the Our Father throughout the week for peace, for leaders and for all people involved in the Ukraine. Also, on Ash Wednesday, Pope Francis has declared that all our prayers and sacrifices be made for the intention of peace in Ukraine.

Also! -The OLV Columbiettes will once again be hosting their Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on Tuesday March 1, 2022, 4:30 - 6:30 pm. $7 Adults/$4 Children 5-12 — Children under 5 free. Pancakes--Sausage--Juice—Coffee. Please join us!

-Our next Confirmation Prep session is next Wednesday, March 9 @ 6:00 – 7:30 pm Parish Office Building.

***Please note the retreat will end at 3:30 pm. Parents, please be to OLS at 3:15 pm to join us for Closing Prayer.

- Wednesday, March 23- Final Confirmation Prep session from 6:00 – 7:30 pm, Parish Office Building

-Due March 15: Grade 10 Circle of Grace Lesson Plan

Please review the grade level lesson with your child and return the Parent Verification form to me by March 15. Please email me if you need for me to send you the lesson. If you have children in different grade levels, you only need to send me one signed Parent Verification form that lists all your children. I truly appreciate your taking the time to go over this information with your child/children. If I can assist you in any way, please let me know.
