Good afternoon,

Have you registered your child(ren) for Faith Formation?!  Don’t wait, we are so excited to have your family part of our program!  Any registrations received after today, September 1^st will be charged a $10 late fee to cover the cost of shipping.

To register and pay online, please visit: https://www.wesharegiving.org/App/Form/aa06b7ab-da26-4e6f-84b3-db29f1f3fd4a.  Hardcopies are available in the OLV Church Gathering Area, the Parish Office or at your request. Again, all registrations are due on or before September 1^st with no late fee.

Please note: Our class start date has been changed! In person faith formation sessions will start on Sunday, September 24^th from 9:45-10:45am in the OLV Education Center and Parish Office Building.  Sunday, September 17^th will be our Faith Formation Kickoff with Catechetical Sunday!

Upcoming Dates:

• Sunday, Sept. 17^th- Catechetical Sunday – All are invited to attend the OLV 11:15am Mass to celebrate Catechetical Sunday. Our catechists and books will receive a blessing and all will have the opportunity to meet our Faith Formation/Youth Ministry Team!  Following Mass, our Assistant Coordinator of Youth Ministry, Peter Ogno, will host a 9^th-12^th Grade Youth Ministry Social.
• Sunday, Sept. 17^th– Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) starts back up at the 11:15am Mass (For children ages 3-7 (Pre-K – Gr.2))
• Wednesday, Sept. 20^th– Grade 2 First Reconciliation Parent Meeting (Time: 6:30-7:30pm in OLV Parish Hall)
• Sunday, Sept. 24^th– Grades 1-9 Faith Formation Sessions begin (this is a change from the original schedule)! (Time: 9:45-10:45am in OLV Education Center/Parish Office Building)
  • Grades 1, 3-9 Parent Meeting in OLV Parish Hall from 9:45-10:45am
• Wednesday, Oct. 4^th– Grade 10 Confirmation Prep begins! (Time: 6:30-7:30pm in OLV Parish Office Building)

If you are feeling called to serve, please reach out to the Faith Formation Office!  Your support is always welcomed and appreciated!  Volunteers are needed in the roles below:

• Catechists or catechist assistants (Grades 1-10)
• Gatekeepers
• Other roles as events come up (bakers, chaperones, etc.)
